2. Android Application Permissions

The ByteMend (BMT) Android Application requests only minimal and non-intrusive permissions required to render the corporate portal:

• android.permission.INTERNET: Required to establish a secure SSL connection to fetch live website contents, technical documentation, and service updates.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used solely to detect network availability and provide an informative offline retry screen if the device loses internet connection.

Our app does not require background location, background microphone, SMS reading, or contact sync permissions.

• To provide IT hardware repair, software development, cybersecurity, and business automation solutions.
• To onboard authorized B2B Super Distributors, Distributors, Retailers, and Merchants.
